Horst was a master of his craft and recognised worldwide for his tasteful and intelligent photography. Perhaps best known for his work in the fashion world, with several covers of Vogue to his name, Horst also displayed a depth and knowledge of still life and interior design photography. The sheer amount of work he produced from the 1930’s till the 1990’s solidified his reputation as a formidable, productive, and creative artist capable of consistently producing interesting and challenging work.
